Brownie cheesecake

For the cheesecake mixture:
1 egg
225g cream cheese
50g caster sugar
5ml vanilla

For the brownie mixture:
115g dark chocolate ( bitter sweet)
115g unsalted butter
150g light brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
50g plain flour



  1. To make the cheesecake mixture, beat the egg in a mixing bowl, then add the cream cheese, caster sugar and vanilla. Beat together until smooth and creamy.

  2. To make the brownie mixture, melt the chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of gently simmering water. When the mixture is melted, remove from heat, stir well, add sugar. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Gently stir in flour.

  3. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 160 celcius or until just set in the center.
